WET VOLUME OF CEMENT  = 1 CUM

DRY VOLUME                            = 54% INCREASE

BY WET VOLUME                     = 100+54 =154

                                                        = 154/100=1.54

DRY VOLUME                            = 1.54 X WET VOLUME


MIX DESIGN         

CONSIDER M15 GRADE ( 1:2:4) (C:S:A)

CONSIDER VOLUME = 1 CUM 

M15 GRADE ( 1:2:4 )

TOTAL MIX ( 1:2:4 ) = 1+2+4 = 7

DRY VOLUME  = 1.54X1 =1.54 CUM


CEMENT 

( DRY VOLUME x C ) / TOTAL MIX 

(1.54 X 1 )/7 = 0.22 CUM

QUANTITY OF CEMENT x DENSITY OF CEMENT

( IN KGs 0.22 x 1440 = 316.8 kg )


SAND 

( 1.54 x 2 )/7 = .44 cum

in kgs  

0.44 x 1500 = 660 kg 


COARSE AGGREGATES 

( 1.54 x 4 )/7 = .88 cum

in kgs  

0.88 x 1500= 1320 kg
